David Silva’s contract at Manchester City will expire on June 30th and he’s already confirmed his decision to leave the Premier League winners in the summer.

The 34-year-old has been linked with clubs outside Europe and three days ago, ESPN’s UK edition came up with a report stating Valencia are interested in him.

It was also explained the La Liga side have offered their former player a three-year contract.

AS contacted Valencia and Silva’s entourage to find out if there’s any truth in ESPN’s report and they were told Silva has no offer from Los Ches.

Thursday’s edition of the same newspaper also talks about ESPN’s report and they provide a short update on Valencia’s chances of signing Pep Guardiola’s man.

Valencia appointed César Sánchez as their new director of football earlier this year and it’s claimed César is ‘very attentive’ to Silva’s future.

The City star’s family spend a lot of time in the Spanish city and his son was born there. AS state Silva does not ‘rule out’ the option of joining Valencia next season.
