Previously left out more often than not from Max Allegri’s plans, Samuel Iling-Junior was being linked with a number of clubs in England, such as Tottenham, Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion.
However, his impressive performance at the weekend is now raising a few questions as to whether or not Juventus should sell him.
The winger looked almost set for an exit, and Corriere Torino recall the likes of Tottenham, Brighton and Aston Villa wanted to ‘bring him back to the country’.
They point out any sale that Juventus make would certainly be beneficial for their coffers and could ‘guarantee resources’ to be used in the January transfer window, but keeping him would also cost them no money other than his wages.
Therefore, there appears to be a bit of dithering over whether to send him to England for the right offer, with it known Tottenham, Aston Villa or Brighton all have the money to make a deal happen.
We now have to wait and see if any of those three test Juventus in the coming weeks, or whether they look elsewhere, leaving him be for the time being.
