A couple of days ago we covered reports from Turkey that Besiktas are interested in Stoke City defender Bruno Martins Indi.

TRT Spor said the Super Lig side want to loan the player with an option to buy, and talks are continuing.

Fotomac have reported on the latest developments with regards to their pursuit of the Stoke City player and they say the Istanbul side’s manager Abdullah Avci has given the green light to sign the Dutch defender.

According to their information, first talks between Besiktas and Stoke City went well, and their sporting director Ali Naibi is also discussing personal terms with the former Feyenoord man.

It’s reported Besiktas have offered €1.5m a season to the 27 year old and both clubs will hold another series of talks in the coming days.

Stoke City are still looking for a permanent exit for Martins Indi but they are also considering Besiktas’ loan offer. It’s reported the Championship side have asked the Black Eagles to give them time before making a decision with regards to the Dutchman’s future.
