According to claims in the Turkish media, Besiktas are set to make their first move for Everton winger Ademola Lookman.

Last week Lookman was linked with a move to the Istanbul club.

Takvim today report Besiktas board member Umut Guner will travel to England to hold talks with Everton for the 21 year old and he’s looking to sign the player on a loan deal.

It’s reported both clubs have a very good relationship because of the Cenk Tosun transfer in 2018 and Besiktas are hoping this will help them land Lookman.

TRT Spor’s Besiktas journalist Firat Gunayer has also reported the Everton youngster been has offered to the Super Lig club, but the financial details are a concern for them.

Gunayer says Besiktas are looking to loan players in this transfer window and Lookman looks to be an option for next season.

However, they are prepared to wait because of Everton’s demands, and they don’t want to pay more than €1.5m to loan the player for a season.

That could what the trip is for, to try and get the price down.
