Earlier on Monday, we covered a story that Serie A clubs were starting to line up to try and bring Nicolo Zaniolo back to Italy, following claims the Aston Villa man would be returning to Galatasaray at the end of the season.

The Italian is currently on loan at Villa Park, where the Premier League side have a chance to sign him at the end of the campaign, but a recent report in England stated that option would not be triggered.

Since then, reports in Italy have emerged about Zaniolo potentially returning to his home country, and JuveLive explain one club in particular are after the Aston Villa man.

By the name of the source, you might have guessed that it’s Juventus, where their director of football, Cristiano Giuntoli, is ‘ready to pounce like a hawk’ to sign the 24-year-old.

The Serie A giants ‘are interested in bringing’ the player to Turin, where they can give him the chance, once again, to ‘compete at the highest level’.

They aren’t the only ones, as AC Milan, Fiorentina and Napoli are also ‘ready to monitor the situation closely’, as he ends the season with Aston Villa before a return to Turkey.

How long he stays at Galatasaray after that, however, remains to be seen.
