Turkish newspaper Fotomac report Besiktas have identified Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi as a target ahead of the January transfer window.
The Black Eagles are in the market for a striker who can partner club captain Burak Yilmaz, and it’s reported the Belgium international is an option for them.
It’s claimed Besiktas board member Erdal Torunogullari will open talks with Chelsea with regards to loaning the player until the end of next season, and they are hopeful they can reach an agreement with the London side.
The Turkish giants will offer €1.5m to Chelsea to loan the player, but it’s currently unclear how will Blues react to this proposal.
This season the 26 year old has played back-up to Tammy Abraham, as he has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea, mostly coming from the bench.
With Euro 2020 just around the corner the attacker may feel he needs to get regular football, something the Super Lig side could offer.
Batshuayi’s contract with the Premier League side will expire at the end of June 2021.
