Tottenham and AC Milan nearly agreed a deal involving Fikayo Tomori in the January transfer window. While the transfer didn’t go through because of the player’s stance, the two clubs could be set to work together again in the coming weeks.
Corriere dello Sport report new Rossoneri sporting director Igli Tare is looking to make quick moves to improve the club’s squad.
As a result, he held a meeting with intermediary Gabriele Giuffrida, who represents two Tottenham players – Radu Dragusin and Guglielmo Vicario.
Both players were discussed during the meeting and after that, the club held an internal meeting about how they plan to approach moves in the summer transfer window.
Calciomercato.it add further detail and state the meeting between Giuffrida and Tare lasted three hours and many players were topics of discussion.
They believe that Dragusin’s name can specifically appeal to Milan, as the Romanian has previously been of interest to the Italian giants. He is looking for more game time and the Rossoneri could become a potential destination for him.
There is also interest in Tottenham goalkeeper Vicario, who is said to be valued at well over €30m. That has been described as a ‘significant valuation’ and the Italian could become an option once Mike Maignan departs the San Siro.
The report indicates a move for Dragusin is more feasible, largely because of the centre-back’s desire to play regular football.
