Mads Hermansen joined West Ham from Leicester City in the summer window. He could now depart the London club just months after his arrival and Bournemouth can play a role in the situation.

Calciomercato today look at a transfer domino involving the two Premier League clubs and Lazio.

This is because the Italian club’s goalkeeper Christos Mandas is nearing a move to Bournemouth. The Cherries have agreed personal terms with the Greek international and work is ongoing to reach an agreement with Lazio.

As of now, Bournemouth have offered an initial loan with a simple option to buy Mandas. Lazio want an obligation to buy, but there is a preliminary agreement between the clubs over a deal that will cost €20m.

The outlet expect a final agreement to be reached soon, with the Biancocelesti set to bank a major capital gain. This will hand them enough funds to sign a replacement, with West Ham’s Hermansen seen as a key option.

Lazio initially tried to land Nicola Leali from Genoa but that idea has faded away. Cesena’s Jonathan Klinsmann was also a target but he is going to stay at the 2 Serie B side.

West Ham player could get great opportunity

West Ham have a direct line of communication with Lazio due to the deal for Taty Castellanos. That is why talks between the clubs can take place in the next few days for the Dane.

The 25-year-old has played only four times in the Premier League this season. His last appearance came back in September, which shows that his signing hasn’t worked out as expected.

Given that, a move to Lazio would represent a fantastic opportunity for the West Ham goalkeeper. The Serie A side may not be at the peak of their powers, but it would be an experience both in football and off the pitch.
