Injuring himself almost immediately after being bought from Aston Villa, Keinan Davis has never proven himself at Udinese this season.
The striker was out of action for far longer than initially expected, which led the Serie A side to have to rely on other players when their desire was for the Englishman to replace Beto, who was sent to Everton.
However, as Mondo Udinese point out, the move simply hasn’t worked out for the former Aston Villa player, who is now facing being sold a year after his arrival.
The outlet point out the has only managed to get a ‘handful of minutes’ on a couple of occasions, with the statistics damning.
Since his €2.3m move from Aston Villa, he has played 19 minutes over two appearances, with his last being a 12 minute cameo at the end of a 2-0 defeat against Genoa on February 24th.
The move simply hasn’t worked out, and Udinese are ‘moving on the market’ to try and find out if ‘a sale is actually possible’.
His adventure in Serie A appears to be one that ‘didn’t last long’ and also one that ‘risks ending very soon’.
Thankfully, Udinese have been able to get Lorenzo Lucca from Pisa on loan, who has managed to score seven goals in 29 appearances to date for the club.
