After a disappointing spell in his first six months at Everton, Sandro Ramirez was allowed to join Sevilla on loan in January.
Ronald Koeman signed the 22-year-old from Malaga last summer. A series of poor performances forced Everton to part ways with the Dutchman and replace him with Sam Allardyce in November 2017.
Sandro was not included in the former England manager’s plans at Goodison Park, which saw Allardyce allow him to go out on loan.
Estadio Deportivo believed that Allardyce would continue at Everton and Sevilla would consider the option of signing the Spaniard on a permanent deal.
However, the Premier League club decided to part ways with Allardyce earlier this week. Everton are looking for candidates to replace him and have identified former Watford boss Marco Silva as a target.
Should Silva take charge at Everton, then Sandro’s immediate future at the club will depend on the new manager’s plans for next season. The player is keen to continue at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, but a decision on his future will be taken by the Toffees’ new manager.
This would jeopardise Sevilla’s efforts of making Sandro’s loan deal permanent this summer. A new manager could ‘complicate’ the situation for Sevilla, who had been ready to sit down for transfer talks.
Sandro has found the back of the net 0 times since returning to Spain in January, but Sevilla remain keen.
