Most Portuguese newspapers confirm today that Vítor Ferreira is on his way out of Porto to join Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Just like it was reported on Monday night, it’s claimed that the midfielder is signing for Wolves on a loan deal, which includes an option to buy for €20m.

What’s different now is that outlets like A Bola and O Jogo are claiming that this clause is expected to be obligatory, and triggered at the end of the 2020/21 season.

So following the announcement of Fábio Silva’s transfer on a €40m deal at the weekend, it seems Wolves are actually spending €60m to shop at Porto this summer.

Newspaper O Jogo also confirms that Vítor Ferreira’s deal is being handled by Jorge Mendes, who also represents Fábio Silva and has been working as an advisor for Wolves for years now.

They point out that the 20-year-old is on his way to England this week, following his time with Portugal’s U-21 squad.

He should fly to Wolverhampton along with his new teammates Ruben Vinagre and Pedro Neto, who we are sure will do his utmost to make him feel welcome and tell him all the good things he can expect at Molineux.
