Brazilian youngster Estêvão signed his contract with Chelsea on Saturday in a deal that could end up costing the Blues €61.5m.
That’s according to Ge Globo, who cover the player today and his impending move to Chelsea, which has been in the offing since May.
They report that Palmeiras have finalised the deal with Chelsea for the youngster, having reached an agreement with them for the player last month.
A deal has been in place since last month and the youngster even underwent medical examinations at that point, but it required the final signing of the various contracts to be completed, which has now happened.
Chelsea will pay an initial €45m for the Brazilian, with €16.5m includes in various bonuses. 70% of the fee is going to Palmeiras while the player and his family will get the other 30%.
Estêvão will complete this season with the Brazilian side and start next season with them too, competing in the 2025 Club World Cup, which will take place between June and July. Him staying for that was one of the conditions Palmeiras put on the deal.
Once that is done, he will head to Chelsea, who he could only officially join when he is 18-years-old anyway. He turns 18 in April of next year.
