It’s been four years since Grêmio star Everton started being linked to Premier League sides, and it seems the rumours won’t go away anytime soon.

There’s a new story about the player’s future this week, with Lance bringing a report from Radio Gauíba journalist Rafael Piffer.

It’s claimed that due to the Coronavirus break, Grêmio are in need of money and are willing to sell the player in the summer. They’re said to be waiting for an offer for the 24-year-old.

The report states Everton have already submitted a bid for him in the January window, and despite Grêmio’s efforts to hold the player back then, the plans have changed now.

Everton Cebolinha has been linked to the Toffees for a while, and has even confirmed that he’s received a call from Carlo Ancelotti regarding a move.

It’s been previously claimed Grêmio wanted €40m for the 50% they own of the player, and perhaps they’ve realised they’re never getting that much money for him.
