Leeds United signed Noah Okafor from AC Milan in the summer window. The Whites could now be preparing to land another player from Serie A.

The move concerns Inter Milan’s Piotr Zielinski, who hasn’t made an impact at the San Siro.

The Poland international joined on a free transfer in 2024. Since then, he’s faced fitness problems and has struggled to become a regular in the first-team.

InterLive note that Leeds United see the 31-year-old as a target for January.

The Whites would prefer to sign Zielinski on a loan or via a free transfer, with the cancelling of his contract.

As of now, Inter aren’t keen on terminating the Pole’s contract, but his exit will give them a ‘breath of fresh air’ from a financial perspective.

This is because Zielinski earns €4.5m per season. His departure would help the Nerazzurri save up to €21m, because his contract expires in the summer of 2028.

This could be encouraging for Leeds United. Inter, meanwhile, will try and get a permanent transfer as their preference.
