Arsenal’s Fabio Vieira spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Porto.

The midfielder has now returned to the London giants but finds his future uncertain once again, with the Portuguese side having failed to sign him permanently.

There is the possibility of the Arsenal player moving to Italy and interest from Parma has now been reported. Gazzetta di Parma claim the 25-year-old is interested in reuniting with Carlos Cuesta, who left the Gunners to join Parma some weeks ago.

The outlet report that Arsenal want €20m to sell Vieira permanently but there is a possibility of finding middle ground for an agreement.

The Portuguese midfielder earns €3m per season and the belief is that these demands can lower, especially if Vieira is keen on playing under Cuesta at the Italian side. Some patience is needed and Parma are happy to take their time in a move.

Vieira is being seen as a replacement for Simon Sohm, who can join Fiorentina this summer as talks are ongoing.
