A Spor report a host of Championship clubs are interested in Goztepe striker Cameron Jerome, including Derby County, Millwall and Swansea City.

The English forward joined the Izmir side from Derby County at the start of last season but he’s now approaching the end of his contract.

It’s reported the Goztepe board won’t be offering him a contract extension and it’s also claimed the 33 year old is eyeing a return to English football, where he’s had spells at seven different clubs.

According to A Spor, Millwall, Derby County and Swansea City are all interested in signing Jerome as a free agent for next season and Goztepe are ready to allow his departure as they want a ‘marquee’ signing to replace him.

It’s likely the three Championship sides will look to bolster their squads during the next window.

Jerome has made 23 appearances for Goztepe this season, but he’s only managed to score three goals. In total, he’s scored 9 goals in 53 games for Goztepe since joining the club from the Rams in 2018.
