Following the rather public outing from Anthony Martial’s agent stating the player was looking from a way out from Manchester United, two clubs have been linked regularly.

Those are Sevilla in Spain and Juventus in Italy, both looking to strengthen their attack in January in some shape or form.

The clubs have two rather different views on the Frenchman, with the La Liga club certainly making him a top target, while their Serie A counterparts also like him, but more as an alternative to Dusan Vlahovic if they cannot sign the Serbian.

Spanish reporter José Manuel García brought the latest information he managed to gather on Monday to his Twitter account, and makes it clear there has been ‘daily contact’ between Monchi and Martial.

He says ‘the player only wants to play for Sevilla’, which is ‘what he has told Manchester United’, as well as asking ‘the English club to respect his wishes’.

Not only that, but a few hours later, he added the two sides are ‘closing final loose ends needed to materialise the transfer of Anthony Martial’, thus ‘fulfilling the player’s wishes’.

In fact, these are, according to him, ‘decisive hours’ in a transfer saga that, if all this is true, could be close to coming to an end.
