Nottingham Forest’s efforts to sign Davide Frattesi are now in their ‘decisive days’, with Juventus also in the mix for the 26-year-old.
Sport Mediaset report that Nottingham Forest face a battle to sign the midfielder, who they see as a replacement for Elliot Anderson.

The newspaper reports that these are ‘decisive days’ for Davide Frattesi’s future. The Italian midfielder is set to leave Inter Milan this summer following a season in which he played less than he would have liked.
He ended the season with a dismal tally of 22 appearances in Serie A but just 16% of the available minutes played. Even worse, he failed to score or register an assist. That was a ‘real rarity’ for a player who has built his career on his attacking prowess.
That has not put off the likes of Nottingham Forest, who have been keen on his signature for a while. They see him as a potential replacement for Anderson, who is expected to leave in a big money exit this summer.
Indeed, their interest is driving up Inter Milan’s asking price. They see it as confirmation of Frattesi’s market value. They want at least €30m. How Nottingham Forest feel about that price, isn’t made clear.
Juventus interest
The bigger problem for Vitor Pereira’s side is Juventus. They are now in the mix for the midfielder thanks to manager Lucian Spalletti.
He is well aware of the talents of the 26-year-old, and their paths could cross against this summer. He wanted him as a signing in the January transfer window and the arrival of Giovanni Carnevali as sporting director makes a move ‘even more likely’.
They, though, are unlikely to be able to or want to match Inter’s €30m demands. That could give Nottingham Forest the advantage. That will particularly be the case if they’re flush with the expected €100m plus they’ll receive for Elliot Anderson.
Either way, the belief in Italy is that this week could be decisive. Frattesi is leaving Inter Milan, but where he ends up remains to be seen.
