Fabio Paratici has decided to end his second spell at Tottenham Hotspur to join Fiorenitna.

The sporting director, who returned to Spurs in October, already has an agreement in place with the Serie A side.

On December 29th, La Nazione stated he wants to terminate his contract with Tottenham. They also stated Paratici aims to leave without any ‘rifts or repercussions’.

At the weekend, Corriere dello Sport reported the Tottenham man should sort out his exit by Monday.

Firenze Viola report the ‘deal is not in doubt’, indicating Fiorentina will eventually appoint Paratici as their new head of football. However, the Tottenham director won’t be arriving in Italy today.

The director ‘won’t be leaving’ the Europa League winners for a week and that’s because of a ‘specific request’ from the north London club. There is no explanation given for why Thomas Frank’s side want to delay the Italian’s exit.

Despite claims elsewhere stating otherwise, Paratici won’t leave Tottenham for a week. Fiorentina will now have to wait for a few more days for his arrival.

Last week, Tottenham’s Manor Solomon joined Fiorentina on loan. There’s belief this shows Paratici has started work at the Italian club.
