Here’s one more Portuguese outlet claiming that Manchester City and Sporting are close on finding a deal for the loan of Pedro Porro for the next season.
Newspaper O Jogo is the one today saying the transfer is ‘practically done’, as the clubs are now only discussing the final details of the agreement.
The outlet claims there’s currently a negotiation about the defender’s salary and the possibility of a buying option, but that should be no obstacle, since the loan deal ‘should’ happen.
It’s once again claimed that the move is part of a partnership set between Manchester City and Sporting last year, when the clubs agreed the move of Félix Correia to England.
Pedro Porro is spending the current season in Spain, where he’s made 17 appearances for Real Valladolid so far.
O Jogo says there’s a chance he could remain there, since Real Betis have been interested in his signing and also made a concrete offer for his transfer, but the newspaper claims that player himself chose to go to Sporting instead.
