Marcos Senesi’s transfer from Feyenoord to Bournemouth now gets the confirmation from his home country’s media.
Argentine journalist César Luis Merlo comes up to say that the deal is ‘done’, as the player has ‘already’ signed with the Cherries a contract until 2026, with an option to extend for a further year.
It’s claimed that Bournemouth are paying an initial amount of €15m for the move, with another potential €2m in bonuses.
It’s also reported that Senesi’s former cub San Lorenzo are making €1.2m from a profit clause plus €675k from the solidarity mechanism.
The transfer had already been reported by the Dutch media, with a couple of outlets bringing very similar information regarding the price paid by the Cherries for the move.
It was claimed that due to the transfer, Senesi would not perform against Vitesse at the weekend, and that’s indeed what happened, as the player missed out on their 5-2 win.
So it now looks a matter of time until Bournemouth come up to officially confirm the signing.
Besides impressing for Feyenoord, the defender recenlty made his debut for the Argentina national team.
