Three days ago, we carried a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, who explained Crystal Palace and Spartak Moscow have ‘moved with major insistence’ to sign Torino’s Saša Lukić.
Toro.it, a website which focuses its coverage on the Serie A side, now claim the Eagles and the Russian side have ‘come forward’ for the midfielder.
Their report’s title states the 24-year-old has ‘two offers from abroad’, but within the report it’s stated both Palace and Spartak are ‘ready to offer’ the Serbia international a ‘first-rate’ salary and are ‘willing to negotiate’ a fee with Torino.
That’s because of the stance maintained by incoming manager, Ivan Jurić. The Croatian accepted the Torino job on the same day he was released from Hellas Verona at the end of May.
It’s claimed Jurić likes the Serbian’s versatility and is ‘attracted to the possibility’ of having Lukić at his disposal next season.
Therefore, the new coach has urged Torino’s leaders to retain Lukić, at least until the start of pre-season training.
