There’s a claim in the Turkish press that Fenerbahce defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has rejected the latest renewal offer from the Super Lig side.
The Nigeria international’s contract expires next summer and in the past week he’s been linked with a return to England with Crystal Palace.
Fanatik today report on the latest developments regarding the former Queens Park Rangers defender’s future, and they say he’s snubbed an annual salary of €2.5m. The two parties are said to be €1m apart and if he doesn’t get the offer he wants, he will leave in the summer.
The Turkish media outlet report three Premier League sides are chasing the player and that offers are already on the table.
Last week, we covered reports from Turkey that Crystal Palace are interested in Osayi-Samuel and can enter into pre-contract talks with the right back in January.
Wolves and Leeds United were also linked with 26-year-old this summer, but Jose Mourinho was keen to keep hold of him.
Osayi-Samuel is currently sidelined with injury and will miss Fenerbahce’s Europa League clash with Manchester United on Thursday night.
