Good news for Crystal Palace, as one of their summer targets is keen on making a switch at the end of the season.
According to Foot Mercato, Galatasaray fullback Sacha Boey ‘wants to leave’ the Turkish side soon.
The report recalls that they recently revealed the interest from Crystal Palace, as well as from Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg, in the signing of the 22-year-old.
Now it’s claimed that with the player wishing to leave, his departure is ‘clearly envisaged’, as he wants to ‘take a new step’ in his career.
Both Crystal Palace and the German clubs seem to be sitting in a comfortable position in this chase, because the player is ‘giving his priority’ to the Premier League and the Bundesliga.
For now, there’s no information on how much Galatasaray would demand to let Boey go, while he’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €11m.
Crystal Palace have been said to be interested in him since December, with other Premier League clubs getting linked as well.
So although he wants a move, the competition to land him should be fierce, and the London side should get prepared for that.
