Crystal Palace seem to be moving forward with their chase for KRC Genk fullback Daniel Muñoz.
A fresh report on this chase comes from Colombia, where ESPN journalist Julian Capera has an update on the situation.
He claims that Crystal Palace and Muñoz now have an agreement on personal terms, and the Eagles now only need to find a deal with Genk.
It’s said the clubs are still negotiating the fee, and it’s certain that the Belgian side would keep the percentage of a future transfer.
According to Capera, these will be ‘decisive 48 hours’ for a potential deal.
Crystal Palace may have to make an attractive offer to take Muñoz from Genk, because 20% of that transfer is going to his former club Atletico Nacional.
The Belgian club only spent €4.5m to get him signed back in 2020, and now see Transfermarkt valuing him at €10m.
The Eagles’ chase for Muñoz has been getting heavily reported in the past few days, with the player desperate to head to London, and it seems it’s now only a matter of agreeing those numbers with the Belgian club.
