Barcelona have been offered a chance to sign Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha, according to a ‘confidential’ report from today’s Sport.
The forward has just over six months left on his contract and has an uncertain future beyond this season.
Zaha has stressed he is “very devoted” to Crystal Palace as there is still no clarity over his stay at Selhurst Park beyond June 2023.
This has not stopped various reports linking him to other Premier League sides and clubs across Europe. Claims in the UK have also mentioned Xavi Hernández’s side as one of his suitors.
This is relayed by Sport, who also provide their own update on this case. They state the Ivory Coast international has been offered to the Catalan club. He seems to be open to making a switch to the Camp Nou since the 29-year-old would like to try his luck in Spain.
It’s explained the La Liga side will seriously consider the possibility to sign Patrick Vieira’s man if the ‘price is adjusted’.
Since there is a possibility to sign Zaha as a free agent next summer, it is likely the ‘price’ mentioned by Sport here is related to the player’s demands.
