Crystal Palace were linked with a move for Fluminense’s Jhon Arias in the summer transfer window.

It was reported that the Premier League looked like a natural destination for the attacker, who managed to score 15 times and racked up eight assists in the 2023/24 season for the Brazilian club.

Crystal Palace in the 27-year-old has gone away and the Eagles have been pulled back into the picture.

La Opinion have reported that Arias is ‘enjoying his vacation’ after the end of the 2023/24 season, but he is waiting to move to a European club.

The report states Crystal Palace are interested and Fluminense have already started to receive offers for the player.

Galatasaray and Sevilla are also potential suitors, with the Turkish side having Arias’ Colombia teammate Davinson Sanchez at the club.

The newspaper appears quite confident that the Colombian will play in England, which would give a boost to Crystal Palace.

Flu president Mário Bittencourt has already stated that the Brazilian side will consider offers that arrive for Arias in January. The Eagles will now have to move quickly, considering the interest from other sides.
