Takvim today report Crystal Palace will make a last attempt to sign Younes Belhanda from Galatasaray.
We recently covered reports from Turkey that Crystal Palace have set their sights on Belhanda and need to offer €10m for the midfielder. The Premier League club had initially offered €6m.
According to Takvim, Belhanda wants to stay at Galatasaray and play in the Champions League, but Crystal Palace will still make a renewed attempt to sign the Moroccan international.
Galatasaray need to sell some of their players to balance the books and Belhanda is on that list, report Takvim. The Istanbul club were recently hit with a hefty fine for FFP implications and face further sanctions if they don’t comply in this financial year.
It’s claimed the Eagles will make a bid just before tomorrow’s transfer deadline and if Belhanda can be convinced over a move to England then this deal could happen.
The player only signed for the Turkish club from Dynamo Kiev last summer.
