Manoeuvring through the January transfer window with a seemingly scattergun approach, Crystal Palace have had another bid rejected, according to France Football.

The French website report on Friday that Lille, who announced yesterday a change of ownership, have turned down a €12m offer from Sam Allardyce for their key midfielder Ibrahim Amadou.

The Ligue 1 side, who turned down bids from Schalke 04 and West Brom in the summer, are determined to keep the 23-year-old at the club, and do not expect him to leave for Selhurst Park at any point this transfer window.

France Football explain that barring an offer landing on their desk of €20m or more, Lille are not prepared to negotiate for the defensive midfielder, meaning Crystal Palace will either have to up their offer or look elsewhere.

Furthermore, the player is reported to be currently in talks with his current club regarding a contract extension, his current deal keeping him at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy until June 2019.

Ibrahim Amadou has already made 23 appearances for Lille this season, scoring one goal and picking up three yellow cards along the way.
