Crystal Palace have made a ‘rich offer’ to Lazio midfielder Daichi Kamada, but he is yet to do anything but listen to the proposal.
That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who report that Crystal Palace continuing to linger in the background for the Japanese international, but his focus remains on negotiations with Lazio.
They explain that Kamada will remain at the Italian club on his own terms, with his current deal set to expire in June, although both parties have an option to extend it.
The two parties are negotiating on that front to find a deal that suits them equally and the player’s managers entourage have met with the club this week to discuss matters.
Kamada has made it clear he is ready to stay but will only do so on his own terms, so there are plenty of negotiations left before an agreement can be struck.
In the meantime, the player has received a ‘rich offer’ from Crystal Palace, who would be happy to reunite him with former manager Oliver Glasner at Selhurst Park. That ‘tempted’ the midfielder but so far has only been listened to and nothing more.
It seems Crystal Palace are lingering in the background and until an official agreement with Lazio is struck, the Italian side will have to keep their guard up.
