Crystal Palace remain ‘the most interested’ in Getafe goalkeeper David Soria, but a move is dependent on Vincent Guaita agreeing to move the other way.
That’s according to AS, who list the Eagles among the numerous clubs eyeing up a potential move for Soria this summer.
The newspaper explains that Soria has ‘several proposals’ on the table, particularly from the Premier League, which is looking at him with interest.
Crystal Palace are the ‘most interested’ English club at this moment in time but his possible move to Selhurst Park is dependent on, among other things, Vincent Guaita agreeing to return to his former club five years after his departure.
Getafe are more than aware of the interest in their number one and president Ángel Torres has not completely ruled out an exit either. In fact, he has pointed all interested parties to the player’s €12m release clause.
Whether that’s a figure Crystal Palace are willing to pay isn’t mentioned, but their interest is well known, and they are at the front of the queue at this moment in time.
There appears to be several mitigating factors, though, chief among them Guaita’s desire to return home to his former club.
