Crystal Palace are among the clubs chasing Chelsea’s Carney Chukwuemeka in the winter market.

That’s according to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, and they mention Crystal Palace when covering Sevilla’s interest in the midfielder.

He’s been limited to 130 minutes from five games in all competitions this season and isn’t pleased with his restricted role.

The report states the 21-year-old ‘will leave’ the Blues in this window and Crystal Palace, the La Liga side and AC Milan are among his options.

Sevilla are aiming to take the Austria-born British midfielder on a loan deal until the end of this season. The report adds the Andalusian club have ‘applied to sign him’, without providing any further clarification of what they mean by it.

Sevilla would face competition from Crystal Palace and the Serie A side as these two clubs are also ‘in the running’ to take Chukwuemek in January.

The Eagles could also look to sign the player on loan and the potential deal may depend on Oliver Glasner assuring Chukwuemeka of regular minutes at Selhurst Park.

Two days ago, journalist Patrick Berger said Borussia Dortmund are seriously considering signing Chukwuemeka.
