Last week, Het Nieuwsblad reported KRC Genk’s Daniel Muñoz absolutely wants to make a move to Crystal Palace, but they are struggling to come up with an offer to secure his services in the winter market.

Today’s edition of Het Belang van Limburg states the Eagles are courting the 27-year-old, and are ‘still not prepared’ to table a decent offer to secure his services.

HBVL make no mention of the fee Crystal Palace must offer to convince the Jupiler Pro League side.

Another Belgian newspaper, Het Laatste Nieuws, claims ‘outgoing transfers are on the way’ at Genk. Muñoz is on the list, and he plans to leave this month.

It’s said the Colombia international is enjoying ‘very concrete interest’ from the Premier League side. His deal lasts until the end of this season and Genk have an option to extend it for another year.

Transfermarkt currently values the South American at €10m and HLN say Genk are aiming to collect a ‘double-digit’ amount from his sale.

It’s stated they have recently received an improved offer from the Premier League, likely from Crystal Palace. The details of this proposal aren’t mentioned, but it’s ‘too little’ and hasn’t pleased the Belgian club.

“The Premier League is my big dream,” Muñoz told HLN at the weekend.

The right-back has managed seven goals and two assists from 29 games this season.
