Towards the end of April, Tuttosport reported Crystal Palace were one of the clubs to have sent their scouts to follow Frosinone’s Matias Soulé, currently on loan from Juventus.
Four days ago, Gazzetta dello Sport stated Crystal Palace have shown interest in the 21-year-old, and that Juve would be open to selling him for around €30m.
A fresh report from Tuttosport explains the Old Lady could raise close to €100m by selling some of their youngsters.
Soulé is one of them and the fire sale at the Italian club gives the Eagles an opportunity to secure his services in the summer window.
Crystal Palace’s interest is highlighted and in fact, it’s claimed they are ‘above all’ in the race for the attacking midfielder, who can play on the wing or through the middle.
Oliver Glasner’s side would be delighted to know that the Argentina U21 international has already stated that it would be a dream for him to make a switch to the Premier League.
The Argentina U21 international has scored 11 goals and registered three assists from 36 games for Frosinone this season and will have to return to Juve in the summer. His deal with the latter lasts until 2026 and the report states the Turin club value him at €35m.
Earlier claims had stated Juve need €40m to part ways with Soulé, after having rejected a €25m bid from Al-Ittihad in January. The Italian media are trying to increase the price, but the deal could probably be concluded for less in the end.
