There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Crystal Palace are still in the race to sign Galatasaray defender Davinson Sanchez.
The Colombia international has been linked with a move to Selhurst Park this summer.
Turkiye Gazetesi today report Crystal Palace, along with Napoli, are monitoring the situation with Sanchez. The player could reportedly be offloaded by Galatasaray in this transfer window despite only arriving last summer.
The Turkish champions are looking to raise funds to strengthen their squad and could make a tidy profit on the 28-year-old after paying Tottenham just €9.5m last summer.
Again, it’s reported Everton are looking to close in on a deal for Sanchez, with Turkiye Gazetesi claiming the likes of Palace and Napoli could sign the player for as little as €15m.
Recent reports from Turkey said Galatasaray are looking for bids in the region of €25m and that Everton have already had an offer of €18m rejected.
Sanchez made 32 appearances for the Super Lig side last season, scoring three goals. He’s contracted to Cimbom until June 2027 after only arriving from Tottenham last summer.
