Crystal Palace are considering making an ‘indispensable offer’ for Juventus youngster Matias Soulé to try and convince the Italian into a sale in January.

That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who say Crystal Palace are out in front of the competition at this moment in time.

Soulé is currently on loan at Frosinone in Serie A but has been impressing so far, with six goals and one assist in 14 league games to date.

That’s seen him increasingly linked with a move to the Premier League in January, with Crystal Palace and Newcastle both thought to be keeping an eye on his performances and considering making an effort for him.

Indeed, at the beginning of the month there was talk of a full-scale blitz, with that then followed up by claims they are ready to make a serious offer for the player and Juventus would welcome an offer.

Gazzetta now follow that up and say Crystal Palace are currently in first place in the line of suitors and that they are considering tempting Juventus with ‘an indispensable offer’ of around €25m plus bonuses for the youngster.

That’s tempting for Juventus, but Frosinone are hoping they will resist any bids, ‘crossing their fingers’ and praying that the Italian giants will postpone everything until the summer.

Whether they do remains to be seen but Palace are very much in the mix and could put their money where their mouth is to get a deal done next month.
