Ever since Harry Kane was being linked with an exit from Tottenham, Dusan Vlahovic emerged as a target for the London side.

It started when Nuno Espírito Santo was in charge thanks to the arrival of Fabio Paratici as director of football, and it continued afterwards a bit when Antonio Conte took over.

Harry Kane has since found his goalscoring form once again, suggesting an exit isn’t something he’s thinking about right now, but there is always the question of what happens if he leaves?

Dusan Vlahovic has often been pointed at as the ideal replacement, offering similar attributes to his English counterpart, but it’s Arsenal who have been pushing a lot for him of late.

Talk of bids being made have appeared all throughout January, pushing Tottenham’s interest to one side, but Massimo Brambati, former footballer and current agent, brought it all back to the fore on Thursday when speaking to TMW Radio, relayed by TuttoJuve.

Asked about where Vlahovic will end up amid all the rumours surrounding him, he said: “There is also Tottenham. Without Kane? Conte wants them together”.

That’s quite the claim, and would certainly give Spurs a very impressive strike force if the Italian manager pulls it off, but judging by what has gone on this month to date, it would have to be a deal for the summer, as the Serbian wants to seemingly finish the current season at Fiorentina.
