Swiss right back Stephan Lichtsteiner is facing an uncertain future at Juventus, after the arrival of Dani Alves and return of Juan Cuadrado. The 32-year-old was excluded from the Champions League squad, but that could help him sign for a top European club in January.
According to Italian website Calciomercato, Barcelona are keen on signing the Swiss international, as Aleix Vidal is expected to leave the club in the winter transfer window.
Barcelona, however, could face competition from Chelsea, who are also interested in his services. Calciomercato say Conte is keen on a reunion with Lichtsteiner, but Barcelona have shown serious interest in signing him.
Bayern Munich and Paris-Saint Germain are also lurking around, and it seems Chelsea will have to beat some competition to sign Lichtsteiner.
Lichtsteiner has a contract until next summer, abut there’s for a further year. Should Chelsea be genuinely interested then they should be able to buy the player for a reasonable fee.
