Feyenoord have enquired about Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Boubacar Traoré as they look to add a ‘controller’ before the end of the window.
That’s according to Voetbal International, who say Traoré is on Feyenoord’s list, and they’ve asked Wolves about a potential move.
Traoré originally joined Wolves from Metz on loan in September 2022 before the move was made permanent in an €11m deal last summer.
The 23-year-old is yet to really establish himself at Molineux, with 38 appearances over his two seasons to date.
He’s yet to feature in any capacity under Gary O’Neil this season, being left out of the squad for the defeat to Arsenal and then sitting on the bench for the 6-2 defeat at home to Chelsea.
Last season he managed 27 appearances in all competitions but just 997 minutes in total, only starting seven games in the Premier League. That would indicate he’s not a major part of the plans and it seems Feyenoord have taken notice.
They’ve enquired about the midfielder and a potential deal, although there’s no mention of whether they’re exploring a loan deal or a permanent transfer.
Either way, the question has been asked and he’s a name to keep an eye on before the end of the window
