Miguel Almiron’s situation at Newcastle United is becoming increasingly difficult, and that’s largely down to the player’s agent.

Daniel Campos has talked up an exit from the Magpies, giving two separate interview recently in a clear attempt to hype the situation. That didn’t go down well with Steve Bruce, with the manager making his feelings clear regarding the representative.

The two clubs pushed forward have been Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan, although it’s likely interest from both has been exaggerated. Grada3, a Spanish website close to the Madrid club, believe it’s unlikely Diego Simeone’s side would be willing to pay what Newcastle would ask.

Andrea Berta, Atletico’s sports director, has had an interest in Almiron, however, with it expected Newcastle would want around £20m the situation isn’t very attractive.

For Grada3, the player’s Newcastle exit is considered ‘certain’, and after what’s happened it’s thought to be ‘impossible’ for him to remain.

Campos will likely have to try some new clubs, because there’s not been any serious indication of Inter making a move either.
