With Victor Osimhen having such an impressive season for Napoli, that makes him an obvious target for Manchester United and others.

Given the Red Devils’ need for a new centre-forward for next season, they’d clearly have an upgrade if signing the Nigerian. But with him in the spotlight, the battle for his transfer promises to be tough.

That’s the subject of a fresh story from Calcio Mercato, who claim that even though Osimhen is a ‘dream’ for Premier League sides such as Manchester United, other clubs are getting into the competition as well.

The website writes that the likes of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain also ‘break in’ for his signing, with the French side starting to speak to his entourage about his future.

Napoli are aware of the attention Osimhen is drawing, and are said to be only interested in selling him if an ‘indispensable offer’ arrives. That means the bids must be of at least €150m, which seems ambitious to say the least.

Regarding Manchester United, Calcio Mercato state the Red Devils are ‘long interested’ in the striker, but it’s now clear they’re not alone in that race.
