All of a sudden, Luis Diaz’s potential move from Liverpool to Paris Saint Germain turned into a big story in the rumour mill this week.
Colombian newspaper El País covered the possibility, claiming the Parisian side are among the clubs who want him. Then we saw French outlet RMC Sport backing up that there’s actually interest in taking him from the Reds.
The reporter shows up on X to say that PSG’s interest in Diaz ‘is real’, as they have him on a list of potential signings for the summer.
Still, Sierra also makes it clear that no moves have been made by the French club so far, and there’s certainly been no contact with Liverpool yet.
We must say it’s quite surprising to see the news coming from both Colombia and France on the same day. Now, since his contract with the Reds hasn’t been renewed since he arrived at the club in January 2022, perhaps that’s a good reason to put some rumours out there.
