Over the past few days, there has been a lot of talk about Tottenham’s interest in Juventus’ Bremer.
Ange Postecoglou clearly wants a new centre-back at Spurs this summer, and names such as the Brazilian’s and Roger Ibañez have done the rounds.
Corriere dello Sport have an article on the Juventus defender on Wednesday, looking at who could stay in Turin next summer, where they bring up Tottenham.
The consensus in the offices of the Serie A side is that Bremer is not currently for sale, but that could change if the right offer was received.
A few days ago, it was stated that any interested club would need to offer at least €80m to sign the centre-back, but that price appears to have dropped.
Corriere state that Juventus ‘could reflect on an offer of €50m or more’, although that asking price, for now, ‘seems to scare’ the Premier League clubs interested, which is when Tottenham are named.
Newcastle and Aston Villa are also mentioned as interested parties, meaning that, at least for the time being, Bremer is considered likely to stay in Turin.
That is, of course, unless Daniel Levy decides to open the club’s wallet this summer.
