Alavés currently have six players on loan in their squad and the list includes Oliver Burke, who joined them on a temporary deal from West Bromwich Albion last summer.
According to AS, the Spanish club will try to retain two of those players after their loan deals expire.
The La Liga side’s idea is to bet on the Baggies owned player and Víctor Camarasa, who is on loan from Real Betis.
It’s claimed that Alavés are ‘exploring negotiations’ with Slaven Bilić’s side and Betis for the Scotland international and Camarasa respectively.
Sergio Fernández, Alavés’ director of football, will explore the possibility of signing the 23-year-old from the Championship side.
Burke, who has been out on loan since the start of 2019, will see his current deal at The Hawthorns run down in 2022.
The former Nottingham Forest man has made 21 appearances in the league for Alavés and it includes only seven starts. He has managed a goal and an assist in the process.
