Werder Bremen are ‘working intensively’ on a deal for Manchester United youngster Isak Hansen-Aarøen before the end of the January transfer window.
That’s according to Deichstube, who have their own information on the potential move after earlier reports in Germany made Bremen’s interest clear.
They report that the clock is ticking on the potential deal for the Manchester United youngster, but the German side are known for ‘pulling off one or two surprises’ in the last hours of the window so there’s no panic.
Their focus is fully on a deal for Isak Hansen-Aarøen at this point, with Deichstube’s information being that those in charge at Werder are ‘working intensively’ to sign him from Manchester United.
The 19-year-old’s deal at Old Trafford expires in the summer but, rather than waiting or signing him to a pre-contract agreement this month they would like to sign him now in anticipation of next season.
That seemingly depends on Manchester United sanctioning such a move, with it unclear if they’re willing to do so or insisting that a fee be paid for the Norwegian youth international.
That’s presumably what Bremen are currently negotiating over, trying to get a deal that suits them before the window closes on Thursday.
