According to Gunes’ Safak Malatya, Besiktas are interested in signing Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.
The Belgian striker seems to be a third choice for Frank Lampard this season behind Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud, and he could leave the club in order to play more regular first team football.
Roma have linked with a move to him recently and Safak Malatya claims Besiktas are working ‘very hard’ to sign the player.
According to him, Besiktas could reach an agreement with Chelsea if the 25-year-old says yes to the Turkish club but there’s nothing clear at this stage.
After spending the second half of last season on loan at Crystal Palace, Bathsuayi has returned to Chelsea but he has yet to feature for the first team this season, scoring a brace against Liverpool U23s this week in the meantime.
Meanwhile, Besiktas fans are on the mission on Instagram as they are writing their trademark ‘Come to Besiktas’ comments under the player’s posts. So far, more than 439k (at the time of publishing) comments have been made by the Turkish club’s fans.
