Earlier on Friday, we covered an article from Germany claiming that the injury Trevoh Chalobah was currently nursing at Chelsea could harm his chances of signing for Bayern Munich.
It was made clear that Thomas Tuchel remains a big fan of the player and as they try and find a replacement to allow Benjamin Pavard to leave for Inter Milan, the Blues man was an option.
Well, Gianluca Di Marzio brings some more information on the matter on Friday afternoon, explaining that Bayern Munich are now ‘working in a concrete way’ to try and bring Chalobah to Bavaria from Chelsea.
In fact, there have been ‘steps forward’ between the two teams ‘in the last few hours’ to see if something can be done.
This is a deal that Inter Milan and Italy in general will be following closely, since a move from Chalobah from Chelsea to Bayern would see Benjamin Pavard complete a move to the Serie A side.
He has been in agreement with them for a few days now and has been pushing for an exit, only for Tuchel and the rest of the club holding him back since they don’t want to be left short in defence.
