Yesterday we covered reports from Turkey that Fenerbahce are showing an interest in Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard.
Fener boss Jose Mourinho is keen to bring in a central midfielder this summer and have been linked with a number of Premier League players, including Nottingham Forest’s Ibrahim Sangare and Crystal Palace’s Jefferson Lerma.
It was claimed Fenerbahce directors are in transfer talks with the Danish international and that he was keen to leave the Premier League club this summer.
Today Dirilis Postasi report on the latest developments regarding the Super Lig club’s pursuit of the Brentford player and they say they are willing to pay up to €10m for him.
The Turkish media outlet also report the west London side are in talks with Norgaard’s agent as the Yellow Canaries look to get a deal done.
Christian Norgaard made 33 appearances for Brentford last season, scoring two goals. He’s contracted to the Bees until June 2025, with the west London club having the option to extend for another year.
