AC Milan ‘will soon begin negotiations’ with Tottenham and could end up signing two players from the Premier League side this summer.
That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who cover Milan today and how there could be two incomings from Tottenham if things go to plan.
The newspaper explains that one of the priorities for Milan is to add a defensive midfielder to their squad and several names are being looked at.
Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is one of those and that he wants to leave for Tottenham and is hoping to join a club who will be playing in the Champions League works in Milan’s favour.
He could be brought into talks with Tottenham for Emerson Royal, who has been linked with a move to Milan for weeks.
Milan ‘will soon begin negotiations’ with Spurs over the full-back, whose agents have already secured an agreement with the Italian side. His valuation is currently around €20m but Milan won’t move until they’ve added offensive signings first.
Those talks could evolve into something of a double deal for the pair if things go well, with both on the radar as Milan look to build for new manager Paulo Fonseca this summer.
