Ever since Tottenham were interested in Ruslan Malinovskyi in the summer, the stories around the Ukraine international have never stopped.
Struggling to get first-team football under Gian Piero Gasperini, the player appears destined for the way out at Atalanta, with Spurs still circling.
Tottenham keep getting linked with a January transfer for the 29-year-old, whose contract in Italy is set to expire in June of next year, meaning this would be the last opportunity for the Serie A side to cash in.
That being said, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday, they want ‘no less than €15m’ for the player who is now ‘up for sale’, which the London side are yet to offer.
That fee is when Atalanta will ‘sit down at a table’, and it’s written that ‘it is hoped’ this can be achieved ‘in a new move’ by Tottenham.
That hasn’t happened just yet, with Tottenham perhaps looking elsewhere for now on the transfer market, knowing full well they can fall back on Malinovskyi at any time.
We’ll have to wait and see, but this appears to be an easy deal to pull off for Fabio Paratici.
